How to use the Responsive Gallery extension

The Gallery Manager shows you an overview of all your active galleries in Magento with the following information:

ID.
This is the ID number of the Gallery.

Title.
The filled in title of the Gallery.

Short code.
The short code of the gallery.

Display Code.
With this code, you can place the gallery anywhere you wish.

Status.
Check if the Gallery is active.

Updated At.
Check the date which the gallery was updated.

Action.
Click on the Edit button to edit the Gallery.

Note: use the Flush Thumbnail cache button to regenerate all the thumbnails. This could be necessary if you changed the default setting for the thumbnails.

On this page, you may add a new Gallery to your store.
General:
Gallery Title.
Fill in your Gallery title.

Short Code.
Create the Short Code you wish to use in your CMS pages.

Status.
Enable or Disable the gallery.

Gallery Description. 
Type in the gallery description you wish to use for this gallery.

Theme.
Choose your favourite theme.

Display Gallery Title. 
Select if you wish to use the Display Gallery Title.

Popup link.
Select the action following the clicking on an image; 
None > Nothing will happen 
Magnific Popup > The Magnific lightbox will be opened 
Image link > The image will be opened by the browser

Media:
Browse Files.
Select "Browse Files" to select the files you wish to upload

Upload Files. 
Click on "Upload Files" to upload the selected images

Title.
The title of the image.

Description. 
The description of the image.

Tags..
Desired tags that describe the image. 

Note : Check the video box to add a Youtube or Vimeo URL and use the video functionality in the Gallery.

Advanced:
If you wish to use different settings other than the default settings, change the settings right here. Leave this empty to use the default settings

Thumbnail Width.
Fill in the default thumbnail width.

Thumbnail Height.
Fill in the default thumbnail height.

Image Width.
Fill in the default image width.

Image Height.
Fill in the default image height.

Thumbnail generation:
Maintain Aspect Ratio.
Image picture width/height will not be distorted if you maintain the aspect ratio.

Maintain Frame.
Select maintain frame to insert a white background into the thumbnail.

Popup Image Resize:
Resize.
Select if you wish to resize the image to the default values.

Maintain Aspect Ratio.
Image picture width/height will not be distorted if you maintain the aspect ratio. 

To add a certain gallery to a CMS page, you need to copy the Display Code from the Gallery Manager and post it in one of your CMS pages in the desired location. Follow the following steps:

1. Copy the Display Code from the manager.

2. Locate the desired location in a CMS page or Static Block.

3. Paste the Display code in the page (make sure you do not include any HTML markup that upsets the Display Code)
