OSS Tax Rules Setup for e-Boekhouden and Magento 2

This guide explains how to configure One Stop Shop (OSS) tax rules using e-Boekhouden with Magento 2. The system uses cost centers in e-Boekhouden to organize VAT by country, making quarterly OSS reporting straightforward.

1. Log into e-Boekhouden
2. Go to Beheer → Instellingen → Functies aan/uit zetten
3. Enable Cost Centers
4. Go to Cost Centers → Manage
5. Create a cost center for each EU country you sell to
6. Create a new ledger account for MOSS VAT (e.g., "1651 VAT MOSS" in the 1600 series)

1. Go to Stores → Tax Zones and Rates
2. Add each EU country with their local VAT rate:
   • Germany: 19%
   • France: 20%
   • Belgium: 21%
   • etc.
3. Go to Stores → Tax Rules
4. Create a new tax rule that includes all configured zones

1. Go to Accounting → Configuration → Tax Rate Mapping
2. Find your newly created tax rule
3. Map it to the e-Boekhouden MOSS VAT category

1. Go to Stores → Configuration → Accounting → e-Boekhouden.nl
2. Click Sync Ledger & Costs from e-Boekhouden to import your cost centers
3. In the Advanced Settings section:
   • Set Enable MOSS to Yes
   • Select your MOSS VAT ledger account
   • Map each country to its corresponding cost center
4. Click Save Config

1. Place a test order from an EU country
2. Create an invoice for the order
3. Go to the order and check the Accounting tab
4. Verify the invoice shows:
   • Correct ledger account (your MOSS VAT ledger)
   • Correct cost center (matching the customer's country)

In e-Boekhouden, go to Cost Centers to view aggregated OSS data. You can filter by:

• Quarter
• Month
• Year

This data can be used directly for your OSS tax authority reporting.
