The Tax Rate Mapping page lets you connect Magento tax rules to e-Boekhouden tax codes. This ensures invoices are booked with the correct VAT rates in your accounting system.
Location: Accounting → Configuration → Tax Rate Mapping
Columns

| Name | Tax rule name as defined in Magento |
| Customer Tax Class | Customer tax class the rule applies to |
| Product Tax Class | Product tax class the rule applies to |
How It Works
- Magento Tax Rules: You define tax rules in Stores → Tax Rules
- Tax Rate Mapping: Here you map each rule to an e-Boekhouden tax code
- Invoice Sync: When invoices sync, the correct tax code is applied

This grid supports inline editing:
- Click directly on a cell you want to edit
- Enter the e-Boekhouden tax code
- Changes save automatically

Common Dutch tax codes in e-Boekhouden:

Setting Up Tax Mappings

Review your Magento tax rules:
- Go to Stores → Tax Rules
- Note which rules you use

Open Tax Rate Mapping:
- Go to Accounting → Configuration → Tax Rate Mapping

Map each rule:
- Click on the row to edit
- Enter the corresponding e-Boekhouden tax code

Test with an invoice:
- Sync a test invoice
- Verify in e-Boekhouden the correct tax code was applied
Troubleshooting
Invoice shows wrong tax in e-Boekhouden
- Check the tax rule applied to the invoice items
- Verify the mapping for that rule
- Update the mapping if incorrect
- Resync the invoice
Tax code not recognized
- Verify the code exists in your e-Boekhouden account
- Check for typos (codes are case-sensitive)
- Contact e-Boekhouden support if unsure about codes
Multiple tax rates on one invoice
The module handles mixed tax rate invoices - each line item uses its own tax mapping.
