Quick Start Guide

Get your Beslist.nl product feed up and running in 5 minutes with the Beslist.nl Winkelwagen Connect extension. This guide covers the essential configuration to generate your first feed and start syncing products to Beslist.nl. The extension handles product export, order import, and real-time inventory updates through a single interface, making it easy to reach Dutch customers through one of the country's most popular shopping comparison platforms.

Prerequisites

• Magento 2 store with products
• Beslist.nl account
• Admin access to Magento

Step 1: Enable the Module

Navigate to: Stores → Configuration → Magmodules → Beslist.nl Feed

1. Set Enable to Yes
2. Save configuration

Step 2: Configure Basic Attributes

Navigate to: Stores → Configuration → Magmodules → Beslist.nl Feed → Attributes

Map your essential product attributes:

General Fields:

• Name - Select your product name attribute (usually "Product Name")
• Description - Select description attribute (usually "Description")
• Brand - Select brand/manufacturer attribute
• EAN-code - Select EAN/GTIN attribute if available

Product Images:

• Source - Select "All Images" or "Base Image Only"

Product Condition:

• Condition - Set to "Static" and select "Nieuw" (New) unless selling used products

Delivery Time:

• Delivery Time (Netherlands)

  • Set Delivery Time to "Static"
  • In Stock: Enter "1-2 werkdagen" or your actual delivery time
  • Out of Stock: Enter "niet op voorraad"

• Delivery Time (Belgium)

  • Set Delivery Time to "Static"
  • In Stock: Enter "2-3 werkdagen" or your actual delivery time
  • Out of Stock: Enter "niet op voorraad"

Step 3: Configure Shipping Costs

Navigate to: Stores → Configuration → Magmodules → Beslist.nl Feed → Advanced Options

Under Shipping Prices:

1. Calculation - Select "Price" or "Weight"
2. Click Add to add shipping rules

Example for price-based:

• Country: NL

• From Price: 0.00

• To Price: 50.00

• Shipping Cost: 5.95

• Country: NL

• From Price: 50.01

• To Price: 999999

• Shipping Cost: 0.00 (free shipping)

Repeat for Belgium (BE) with your Belgian shipping costs.

Step 4: Enable Feed Generation

Navigate to: Stores → Configuration → Magmodules → Beslist.nl Feed → Feed Generation Settings

1. Enable - Set to Yes
2. Filename - Leave default or customize (e.g., "beslist")
3. Enable Cronjob - Set to Yes for automatic feed generation
4. Frequency - Select "Every 6 hours" or preferred frequency

Save configuration.

Step 5: Generate and Test Feed

1. Scroll to Available Feeds section at the bottom
2. Click Generate Now button for your store view
3. Wait for feed generation to complete
4. Click Preview to view the feed
5. Copy the feed URL

Step 6: Run Self-Test

Navigate to: Stores → Configuration → Magmodules → Beslist.nl Feed → General

1. Click Perform a Selftest button
2. Review the results
3. Fix any errors or warnings shown

Verification

Your feed should now be accessible at:

https://yourstore.com/pub/media/beslist/beslist.xml

Check that:

• Feed contains products
• All required fields are present (name, price, delivery time)
• Product images are included
• Shipping costs are configured

Next Steps

• Submit feed to Beslist.nl - Provide the feed URL to your Beslist.nl account manager
• Configure order import - Set up OrderXML API for automatic order import
• Enable real-time updates - Configure ShopItem API for inventory synchronization
• Review filters - Fine-tune which products to include/exclude
• Optimize attributes - Add additional fields like color, size, material for better listings
