Data Feed Logs

The Data Feed Logs grid shows the history of all feed generation attempts. Use it to monitor feed status, troubleshoot generation issues, and access your feed files.

Location: Marketing → Magmodules Meta → Data Feed Logs

Columns

How Entries Enter This Grid

Log entries are created when:

1. Cron generates feed:

   • Based on configured frequency
   • One entry per store view with feed enabled

2. Manual generation:

   • Click "Generate Feed" button in configuration
   • Use CLI command magmodules:facebook:generate-feed
   • Click "Generate" button in this grid

Row Actions

Click the Actions column on any row:

• View Feed: Open the generated feed file
• Delete: Remove this log entry

Mass Actions

Select multiple rows and use:

• Delete: Remove selected log entries

Understanding Results

Successful Generation

Result shows:

• Number of products exported
• Feed file location
• Execution time

Failed Generation

Result shows:

• Error message
• Common causes: memory limit, timeout, configuration error

Common Workflows

Verify Feed Generated Successfully

1. Open Data Feed Logs
2. Check most recent entry for your store view
3. Look for success message in Result column
4. Note the product count

Access Feed URL

1. Find successful generation entry
2. Click Actions → View Feed
3. Copy URL for use in Facebook Commerce Manager

Troubleshoot Failed Generation

1. Find entry with error in Result
2. Note the error message
3. Check:
   • Memory limits if "out of memory"
   • Execution time if timeout
   • Configuration if data error

Monitor Cron Generation

1. Filter by Generated By = Cron
2. Verify regular generation entries
3. Check execution times are consistent
