Decide Exactly Which Products Qualify

Not everything fits in a reusable box. A parasol, a framed mirror or a 25 kg bag of compost belongs in regular packaging. With the product rules you decide which products may ship in reusable packaging, using one of three modes: all products, all products except the ones you select, or only the products you select.

Each mode reads its own product flag, so you can run a pilot on a single brand, switch to a full rollout later and keep your list intact. Products are marked in bulk from the product grid with Update Attributes, with no product-by-product editing needed.

Set how many items fit in a container

Use the maximum products setting to cap how many items still fit in one reusable container. The cap counts total quantity, so five identical T-shirts count as five, and configurable or bundle products are counted once through their parent. If a single product in the cart is not allowed, or the cap is exceeded, the cart falls back to disposable packaging, because the order ships as one parcel.

Set Up in Minutes, Test Before You Go Live

Install the extension, paste your BOXO API key and press Test Connection. The test tells you exactly what is going on: the key works, BOXO rejected the key, or the API could not be reached at all, so you know whether to look at your key or at your server.

The module ships disabled, so nothing changes in your checkout until you are ready. A built-in Selftest checks your PHP and Magento version, the module status, the BOXO packaging products and the API connection in one go, and the debug and error logs can be viewed straight from the configuration screen, without shell access.
