Configuration Guide
Complete reference for all Digitec Galaxus Integration settings. This guide explains what each option does and when you'd want to use it, organized by admin section.
General Settings
Location: Digitec Galaxus → General Settings
General
Enable
Enable or disable the entire Digitec Galaxus integration. When disabled, no feeds are generated and no orders are imported.
FTP
FTP settings for connecting to the Digitec Galaxus platform. You'll receive these credentials from your Digitec Galaxus account manager.
Enable
Enable FTP connectivity. Required for automated feed uploads and order imports.
Host
The FTP server hostname provided by Digitec Galaxus.
Example: ftp.digitecgalaxus.ch or test-ftp.digitecgalaxus.ch for testing
FTP User
Your FTP username.
FTP Pass
Your FTP password. Keep this secure.
Test FTP Connection
Button to verify your FTP credentials work correctly. Always test after making changes.
Feed Automation
Configure automated feed generation and upload schedules.
Select Stores
Choose which Magento store views to include in your product feeds. Each store can have its own FTP paths.
Important: Contact Digitec Galaxus before enabling additional stores beyond your initial agreement.
Product Data - CSV Upload
Controls the main product content feed (titles, descriptions, images).
- Automate: Enable automatic generation and upload
- Frequency: How often to run (once daily recommended)
Product Stock Pricing - CSV Upload
Controls stock levels and pricing feed. This should run more frequently than product data.
- Automate: Enable automatic generation and upload
- Frequency: Every few hours recommended for accurate stock
Product Properties - CSV Upload
Controls product attributes and specifications feed.
- Automate: Enable automatic generation and upload
- Frequency: Once daily recommended
Product Accessories - CSV Upload
Controls related products feed.
- Automate: Enable automatic generation and upload
- Frequency: Once daily recommended
Order Automation
Configure automated order import from Digitec Galaxus.
Select Stores
Configure FTP paths for each store:
- Path In: Folder where Digitec Galaxus places order files
- Path Out: Folder where you place shipping confirmations
These paths are provided by Digitec Galaxus.
Order Import
- Automate: Enable automatic order import
- Frequency: Every 15 minutes recommended

How to sync shipping/tracking information back to Digitec Galaxus.
Debug & Logging
Debug Mode
Enable detailed logging of all operations. Writes to var/log/digitec-galaxus.log.
When to use: Troubleshooting issues, initial setup verification
Note: Disable after debugging as it impacts performance.
Self Test
Run a diagnostic test to verify module configuration and connectivity.
Product Feed
Location: Digitec Galaxus → Product Feed
Product Data
Configure the main product content feed with multi-language support.
German / French / Italian
Enable each language you want to include in your feeds. Map the following for each enabled language:
- Product Title: Attribute containing the product name
- Product Title Tag: Attribute for short description/teaser
- Description: Attribute for full product description
Attribute options:
- Select from any product attribute
- Use Conditional for complex logic
- Use Multiple to combine attributes
- Use Static for fixed values
Product Stock Pricing
Configure stock and pricing information.
Available Attributes
- Delivery Date: When out-of-stock products will be available (format: YYYY-MM-DD)
- Warehouse Origin Country: ISO 3166-2 country code where stock is held
- Shipment Type: 1 = Letter, 2 = Parcel, 3 = Bulky parcel
- ManufacturerKey: Manufacturer's product number (must be unique per brand)
- ExpectedRestockQuantity: Units expected in next restock
Price Adjustment
Modify prices specifically for Digitec Galaxus:
- Adjust Prices: Enable price modification
- Price Adjustment in %: Percentage to add/subtract
10increases prices by 10%-5decreases prices by 5%
- Round Price: How to round adjusted prices
Use when: You need different pricing for the marketplace than your webshop.
Product Properties
Configure product attributes and specifications feed.
Map your Magento attributes to Digitec Galaxus property fields.
Product Accessories
Configure related products/accessories feed.
Map your cross-sell or related product relationships.
Advanced Settings
Filter on Visibility
Control which products are included based on visibility:
- Enable: Turn visibility filtering on/off
- Visibility: Select which visibility levels to include
Filter by Category
Include or exclude products based on category assignment:
- Enable: Turn category filtering on/off
- Type of filter: Include or Exclude selected categories
- Category: Select categories
Note for Include: Simple products in configurable/bundled products must also be in included categories.
Note for Exclude: Products in multiple categories must be excluded from all their categories.
Exclude Out of Stock
Remove out-of-stock products from feeds.
Advanced Filters
Create custom filter conditions using any product attribute:
- Enable: Turn custom filtering on/off
- Filter Conditions: Build conditions (attribute, operator, value)
Enable Paging
For large catalogs, split feed generation into batches:
- Enable Paging: Turn batching on/off
- Products per Batch: Number of products per batch (e.g., 5000)
Use when: Your catalog has 50,000+ products and feed generation times out.
Enable Data Validation
Validate product data against Digitec Galaxus requirements:
- Products with invalid data are excluded from feeds
- Ensures identifiers and prices comply with guidelines
Order Synchronization
Location: Digitec Galaxus → Order Synchronization
Order Import
Configure how orders from Digitec Galaxus are created in Magento.
Shipping Method
- Default Shipping Method: Applied to all imported orders
- Fallback for Shipping Method: Used if default is unavailable
Customers
- Import Customers: Create customer accounts or use guest checkout
- Customer Group: Assign imported customers to this group
- Make Email Address Unique: Prevent email conflicts
- Unique Address Format: Format for unique emails (e.g.,
info+{order_id}@store.com)
Address & Invoice
- Separate housenumber: Put house number in second street line
Use when: Your checkout or ERP requires house numbers in a separate field.
Order ID
- Use Digitec Galaxus Order ID: Use marketplace order ID as Magento increment ID
- Order ID Prefix: Prefix for order IDs (e.g., "DG-")
Recommended: Always set a prefix to avoid conflicts with regular orders.
Logging
Enable order import logging to var/log/digitec-galaxus.log.
Track & Trace
Configure tracking URL templates per carrier:
- Carrier Name: Match to your Magento carrier
- Tracking URL: Use
{parcel_id}placeholder
Failed Order Email
Get notified when orders fail to import:
- Enable: Turn notifications on/off
- Email From: Sender identity
- Email To: Recipient address
- Email Template: Email template to use
Return Request Email
Get notified of return requests:
- Enable: Turn notifications on/off
- Email From: Sender identity
- Email To: Recipient address
- Email Template: Email template to use
Enabled Stores
Shows which stores have order import configured.
